Looking for a fun and relaxing way to spend your Wednesday morning? Join us at the Thomas Andrew Art Studio + Gallery in Homewood for our Wednesday Morning Painting Club!

Every Wednesday from 9:00–11:00 a.m., we’ll gather for two hours of easy, enjoyable painting in a casual and welcoming studio atmosphere.

Each week, we’ll create a different small painting, and each participant will be able to choose their own subject from a variety of options such as landscapes, florals, animals, abstracts, angels or something completely unexpected. You’ll be able to transfer your chosen image directly onto your small canvas, so there’s no need to worry about drawing. You can simply pick the subject that inspires you and start painting!

This is not a heavily instructed painting class. Some guidance and demonstrations will be provided to get you started, but the emphasis is on relaxing, experimenting and enjoying the process of painting. The projects will be kept simple enough that even someone who has never painted before can jump right in.

Beginners are absolutely welcome. No painting experience is necessary.

Think of it less as a formal art class and more as a therapeutic morning of painting with other creative people. There’s no pressure to create a masterpiece and no need to worry about doing it “right.” Just come in, grab a brush and enjoy yourself.

We have free coffee, a refrigerator, and an Air Fryer. Feel free to bring your own snacks or other drinks and make yourself at home.
