CREATE YOUR OWN LARGE ABSTRACT PAINTING

Create the perfect piece for your home—your colors, your style, your painting.
Have a large wall that needs something special, but you can’t find artwork with the right colors? Come to the Thomas Andrew Art Studio and create your own large abstract painting with professional artist Thomas Andrew guiding you through the process.

No painting experience is necessary.

BRING YOUR COLORS
Bring fabric swatches, paint samples, pillows, photographs, or anything else that shows the colors in your room.
Together, we’ll select a palette that works beautifully with your space and decide on the overall feeling you want for your painting—soft and neutral, bold and dramatic, colorful and energetic, or somewhere in between.

Then the fun begins.

A PRIVATE PAINTING EXPERIENCE
This experience is reserved exclusively for one or two people, giving you plenty of individual attention and room to create.
Come by yourself and enjoy a private creative session, or bring a friend, spouse, or partner and each create your own abstract painting.
You can each bring your own color inspiration and create completely different paintings—or coordinate your pieces if you’d like.
There are no other students or groups in your session. The studio experience is just for you.

YOU CREATE THE ART
Working on a large canvas in my Homewood studio, I’ll help you build your painting using layers of color, texture, movement, and expressive marks.
I’ll guide you throughout the process while still allowing the finished piece to feel completely your own.

Abstract painting is about experimenting, responding to color and movement, and discovering what happens on the canvas.

MADE FOR YOUR HOME
Instead of searching stores and galleries hoping to find something that works in your room, you’ll create artwork specifically for your space.
And when someone asks about the large painting hanging in your home, you get to say: “I painted it.”

CHOOSE YOUR CANVAS SIZE
Choose from several large canvas sizes depending on the wall and space you want to fill.

Your canvas, paints, supplies, and personal guidance are included. Pricing varies according to canvas size.
